Military Medals of America is an illustrated History and Guide from 1776 to present by Colonel Frank Foster and replaces the earlier eight editions of Militarty Medals of the United States. A greatly expanded book to 232 pages it is now profusely illustrated in full color. The history of all United States military medals and ribbons as well as detailed color photographs of all Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force and Coast Guard Coast awards makes this the only single source in the world covering all U.S. Armed Forces awards to include the Merchant Marine and commonly awarded foreign medals.
